Showtime technician inspecting a vehicle component

You choose the shop. We help make the process clearer.

Bring your insurance estimate, claim information, and vehicle photos. Showtime can help explain the repair process, hidden damage, supplements, and next steps.

Visible damage and complete repair needs are not always the same.

Insurance estimates are often written from visible information. Once a vehicle is inspected, disassembled, measured, and scanned, additional required operations or damaged parts may be documented through a supplement.

You have the right to choose your repair facility.
Showtime works with major insurance carriers and private-pay customers.
Hidden damage may change the repair plan after disassembly.
Manufacturer procedures can affect parts, materials, calibrations, and repair steps.

Open Photo Estimate Photo review is preliminary. A complete repair plan may require in-person inspection and disassembly.

What happens after the accident?

A straightforward view of the decisions and documents that move a repair forward.

01

Protect people and the vehicle

Address injuries, move only when safe, document the scene, and call before driving a vehicle with safety concerns.

02

Open the claim

Provide the carrier with the basic accident information and obtain the claim number and initial estimate when available.

03

Share photos with Showtime

Start the photo estimate so the shop has visual context and can help plan the most useful next step.

04

Inspect and blueprint

The shop identifies hidden damage, research needs, parts, scans, measurements, and repair procedures.

05

Document supplements

Additional repair needs are documented and communicated to the insurer when they were not included in the first estimate.

06

Repair and deliver

Approved work proceeds, updates are provided, and the vehicle is checked before final delivery.

Collision repair blueprint and structural work in progress

Estimate, repair plan, and final invoice are different documents.

Initial estimate

A preliminary assessment based on what can be seen or documented at that point.

Repair plan or blueprint

A more complete set of repair operations developed after inspection, research, scans, measurements, and often disassembly.

Supplement

Additional documentation for required work or parts not included in the initial estimate.

Final invoice

The completed record of parts, labor, materials, and approved operations performed.

Know what you are agreeing to.

Showtime can explain the repair process. Policy coverage, deductibles, rental limits, and liability decisions remain subject to your insurer and policy.

Discuss Your Claim
Can my insurer require a specific body shop?

You generally retain the right to choose your repair facility. Your insurer may recommend network shops, but you can ask Showtime to review your estimate and options.

Why can the estimate change after repairs begin?

Some damage is hidden behind bumpers, trim, panels, or interior components. Scans, measurements, and manufacturer procedures may also reveal required operations that were not visible initially.

Will Showtime communicate with the insurer?

Showtime works with major carriers and can document repair needs, submit supplements, and communicate about the repair process.

Does the photo estimate replace an in-person inspection?

No. It is a convenient intake and preliminary review tool. A complete plan may require the vehicle at the shop.
